BIC (Banglore International Convention Centre)

The site located in domular in east bangalore, is proximity to the centre of the city, as well as

important mixed residential and commercial areas as indiranagar, koramangala and halasuru. major roads - m.g. road, old madras road, old air-port road, inner ring road are easily accessible and easy allow connection to other roads.

The main idea behind the design is to create the gathering spaces for people in an innovative while preserving the separation of public and private activities. So I divided the whole building into three parts i.e.:  public zone, semi public/semi private, private zone and the final result has come out.

The public zone consists public parking, exhibition halls, library, restaurant, bar etc.

The semi public/semi private zone consists auditorium, exhibition halls, multipurpose halls etc.

The private zone consists guest house, offices, VIP restaurant etc.

High-Rise Apartment

The main concept behind the design is to elevate the floors   and create some interacting spaces between the floors. In the design proposal, plinth  level  is rose  up 1 meters  and  the floors are up to 2 meters from the plinth level, so that proper light and ventilation for the parking  which is in underground.   here  the   high - rise  apartment  having  eight  stories above  the  ground, with a one commercial retail shop and a  small family restaurant capacity of 20 person at a time. Rest of the building  part on  the ground  there is a  small  public park on the ground as a recreational and interactive space.

The whole building having seven residential floors with 14-4bhk flats, 35-2bhk and 7 - 1bhk flats. Instead of this a terrace garden is situated on the roof for best vision. the whole building having 2 major blocks and is connected from a connecting  bridge  which appear as false  massing.

Box Pavilion

Exploration of things

The main concept behind the design is make the building self sustainable and energy efficient. For this idea i have used a building block act as an air tunnel, which connects with other spaces and blocks of the building. the box pavilion  is a building for exhibition and display of things. the solar panels and green roof is provided on the top of the building according to the sun direction and buliding orientation for proper cooling and ventilation.

RURALIZING THE CITY.......

ISTEAD OF GOING TO CITIES,WHY NOT BRINGING RURAL LIFE TO THEM ??

We strongly believe there is a much more friendly alternative of coexisting with nature. By being conscious of what the  poorest may need in their daily basis, we propose scheme where everything around them becomes part of an integral project. Instead of going to cities why not bringing rural life

to cities?

We understand sustainability as not precisely the complexity of technological systems, but rather as an opportunity to look back to the past, and planning future by applying local strategies to the present.
